We went to a local restaurant. We could hear the birds chirping outside while we ate our delicious hamburgers. The cheese fries arrived with sauce oozing out, and the aroma filled our noses. The scrumptious meat was so good, it felt like we were eating something from heaven.

We were both beaming with delight when we heard our father walking towards us, presenting us with ice cream from the ice cream parlour. The rich flavours of strawberry and Belgian chocolate ice cream hit our tongues as they melted in our mouths. We finished them as fast as a bullet.

As I was holding the bags, they felt like a million sacks of rice. I could taste the imagined flavour of thousands of fries in my mouth as I was hungry. I could hear my heart thumping from my chest to my stomach. The scrumptious smell of fries lingered in my mind.

The bags were as heavy as dumbbells. My legs and elbows were skinny like skeletons and I struggled to lift them. My face was as red as a tomato.

Tom enthusiastically raised his hands high in the air and waved them so fast that all I could see was a blurred vision of his hands. I took a deep breath and could smell his stinking aroma of cologne. It was as though I could taste blue cheese. I felt the chilly wind whipping on my face. I heard Tom shout my name in slow motion and run towards me, giving me a big hug.
