The Amazon Rainforest has faced serious fires in recent years, especially in 2019. These fires were mostly caused by human activities like illegal logging and land clearing for farming. The fires destroy trees, harm wildlife, and release large amounts of carbon dioxide, which contributes to climate change. The Amazon is known as the “lungs of the Earth” because it produces a lot of the world’s oxygen. Protecting it is important for the health of our planet.

                           Student: Nguyễn Hoài Lâm

Oil Spills in the Ocean

Oil spills are one of the most dangerous environmental emergencies for marine life. When oil leaks from ships or drilling rigs, it spreads quickly over the water, harming fish, birds, and other sea animals. It also pollutes beaches and affects the local economy. Cleaning up oil spills is difficult and expensive, so preventing them is very important for protecting the ocean.

                    Student: Nguyễn Thúc Thuỳ Tiên
