• Mad at Titania because she dotes on a boy, he is jealous

• Plans to use a flower that was hit by cupid's bow on Titania

  • It can make someone fall in love with the first thing they see

• Feels sympathy towards Helena and splits the flower in half to use on Demetrius as well

Act 2 Scene 2:

• Uses the spell on Titania and sends Puck to use the other half on Demetrius

Act 3 Scene 2:

• Oberon is happy about what Puck did to Titania so he kissed him

• Oberon finds out about Puck's mistake with Lysander

• Oberon puts the love potion on Demetrius' eyes

• Oberon orders Puck to use the antidote on Lysander

• While Puck does this he will go to Titania, take the boy, and lift the potions effects on her

Act 4 Scene 1:

• Oberon previously made fun of Titania for loving a donkey but she didn't care

• He then asked for the boy and she gave it just like that

• Now Oberon doesn't feel happy he likes when she fights back

• Uses the antidote on Titania

• Get's rid of Bottom so he'll think it was just a dream

• Makes up with Titania (lovey dovey again)

• They depart for Theseus' wedding to bless it

Act 5 Scene 1:

• Blesses all the marriages

  • the bed (one of them will be pregnant)

  • No child of theirs will be ugly

  • Kisses Titania

• Is taking care of a close friend's child because she died

  • Upset at Oberon because he want's the boy

• Not afraid to speak up to Oberon

• Queen of the fairy realm

Act 3 Scene 1:

• Falls in love with Bottom because of the love potion

• Convinces Bottom to stay and be with her

Act 4 Scene 1:

• Is cured of the love potion's effects

  • Realizes what she has been doing

• Makes up with Oberon but gets mad and wants to know how she ended up like that

• Leaves to bless Theseus' wedding

Act 5 Scene 1:

• Blesses all the marriages with Oberon

• Kisses Oberon

• A trickster

• Makes Oberon laugh

• Uses the flower on Lysander thinking he's Demetrius

Act 3 Scene 1:

• Messes with the rude mechanicals

  • Turns Bottom into a donkey

Act 3 Scene 2:

• Puck realizes his mistake with Lysander

• "Lord, what fools these mortals be!" (3.2.116)

• Puck will fix his mistake

  • Distracts Demetrius, Lysander, Hermia, and Helena until they fall asleep

  • Then he gave the antidote to Lysander

• Puck is afraid of the dark fairies

  • Oberon comforts him and says they are different from them

Act 5 Scene 1:

• Breaks the fourth wall

  • Says that if this play sucks just think of it like a dream

• Plays Pyramus

Act 3 Scene 1:

• Gets turned into a donkey by Puck (clueless)

• Agrees to be with Titania

• "And yet, to say the truth, reason and love keep little company now-a-days." (3.1.127-128

Act 4 Scene 1:

• Comfortable in his new life

• Falls asleep and wakes up thinking it was all a dream

• Leaves to begin the play for Theseus' wedding

Act 5 Scene 1:

• Forgets a lot of his lines during the play

• A lot of things go wrong

• The director

Act 4 Scene 2:

• Sad because Bottom is missing and they can't perform without him

• Bottom arrives and is happy again

• Excited to perform their play

Act 5 Scene 1:

• He's very nervous and sick to be performing

• The play is chaotic and a lot of mess ups happen
