Due to the coronavirus starting in China many Asian Americans in the US have had to deal with racism against them. President Biden and other US leaders need to inform the public on not doing such crimes, as an Asian person is just as likely to get coronavirus as a person from any other race. However, I think the only reason why people are starting to focus attention on this is because even though these type of incidents happened last year as well, BLM movements stole the light for 2020, and since then people started to turn their attention to other stuff.
