2nd day of coil method. Teacher had great ideas about using different color slips. So i decided to make a rainbow mix by using colored slips (blue, green, yellow, red) on the outside and inside of the coil tower.

Painted the inside of coil tower using slip. Plan is to use clear or maple color glaze on the inside and outside of the tower so that the slip colors come through.

Using envelope as template. had to use sponge to keep the top from collapsing as it dried.

several coils and the nose broke. used the glaze to glue the borken pieces. use oribe and maple brown. just experimenting.
