However I keep seeing educators shift away from using tech in the mathematics field, and instead use more and more paper-to-pencil activities for class work. I’ve seen pros and cons for both methods. 
My question is what kind of technology do you plan to/ already use in your classroom that you feel would blend into a mathematics class?

We introduce the lesson with a video, followed by the Kahoot game that has some questions that come directly from the video. It is a site that allows me to assign work to students that correlate with lessons we are currently working on. This site would not apply to math class, but the approach can. It is a spin off from Kahoot. They answer questions provided by the teacher and then play a game. It is fun, interactive, and engaging for the students. I will readily admit that I am not good a math, but I teach my students the formulas required and test them on said formulas.
