I’m Giulia Enna, I’m 19 and I’m from Palermo, Italy. 
I am in the last year of high school C. Finocchiaro Aprile. Thanks to my school I was able to live this wonderful experience with Erasmus project. 
It was really useful for me to take part in this project, not just for improving the English language, but also because I had the chance to know new cultures, new places and mostly new friends.

There was also the stadium where the Olympic games were held. Then, we saw another archeological museum in Olympia.

Once the presentations were finished we visited the Pyrgos's town centre, a welcoming and special place! 
Then we saw the Church of St. Nicolas, a very beautiful church, and after that we went to the archeological museum, not far from centre.

Then for the lunch we ate in a restaurant in front of the sea in Methoni. 
Finally, we visited an old mill where they explained how the machines worked but the best thing about the day was eating the crêpes made by the mill owners 😂.

That day we visited a monastery where there was a small church where the frescos depicted the life of Christ on the walls and on the roof. 
Then we went to the "Mercouri Estate" namely a wineyard. However, they don't produce only wine but also olive oil. They explained to us how grapes ferment and become wine.
After, we went to Katakolo's port just to see it. 
At night, we all went to school to greet each other. 
We learned the typical Greek dances and we italians taught a typical Sicilian dance. 
It was really fun!

Here we collaborated on projects and we had a lot of fun! We did some masks for the theatre and  paper puppets.
In the afternoon we went to another school where they showed us how science can meet art.
