Some personalization that I have seen at my school site comes from the fact that our students are offered an end of the day enrichment course if they do not need intervention, these courses range from cross stitch to conversational Japanese to robotics, students can sign up for what they want to take, some students have even started requesting for things to be taught and teachers will pick it up, like we have a part planning/event planning class during this time

Project based learning is huge in most of the schools that I have been in. It allows there to be more than one right answer and gives the students an opportunity to use deeper thinking to explain their answers. I also love that teachers allow students to complete assignments in different ways that highlight their strength, but still teaches the same standard.
