She is a special child. Her parents and brother never really cared about her. When she was very young and hadn’t gone to school yet, she would go to the library and read. Books that weren’t even meant for kids thrice her age. Books by Jane Austen and her favourite, Charles Dickens. The librarian was very attentive to her progress and also  very interested and surprised. She borrowed books and brought them home to read. However, her mom who doesn’t like books, caught her and didn’t want books in her house again. </div><div>When Matilda finally went to school, she realized that her school was very weird and discipline. She would have went into the chokey as a punishment, a basement filled with spikes. But Matilda had one favourite and kind teacher, ms. Honey. Ms. Honey thought Matilda was like any other student. But when she asked matilda some questions, Matilda knew all the answers. Ms. Honey then tried to ask her harder questions that she definitely thought Matilda couldn’t answer. However, unexpectedly, she could!</div><div>Ms. Honey helped Matilda sneak books home and even tried telling her parents of her many talents. Matilda’s parents seemed to not care at all. One day Matilda accidentally moved something with her mind. This made her want to try harder and finally she found out she could and knew how to do it.</div><div>In the end, Ms.Honey couldn’t handle how Matilda was being treated at home and asked about adoption. Then, Ms.Honey lived happily with her new daughter, Matilda.</div><div> </div><div> </div><div><strong><em>What was your favourite part or character?  Explain. </em></strong></div><div>Ms. Honey. She was kind enough to accept Matilda into her family.</div><div> </div><div><strong><em> </em></strong></div><div><strong><em> </em></strong></div><div><strong><em> </em></strong></div><div><strong><em>What is your opinion about the book? Cite some examples or parts of the book that you like or dislike.</em></strong></div><div>The book was definitely very interesting. It shows very weird situations and magic.</div><div>I like when Matilda found out she has powers. I dislike the part when Miss Trunchbull threw a little girl. That was really scary.</div><div> </div><div><strong><em>What is the book teaching you/ what message did you get?</em></strong></div><div>Do what you believe. Do not listen to those who affect you negatively. Everyone is special in their own way and its okay to be different. You should know how to stand up for yourself and say what you need to say in a bad situation</div><div> </div><div><strong><em>Which part of the story can you relate to (similar to you/to your life)</em></strong></div><div>I can relate to ms. Honey and Matilda’s relationship because my family also loves me very much.</div><div> </div><div><strong>Conclusion</strong></div><div><strong> </strong></div><div><strong><em>Who would you recommend the book to?
