         <description><![CDATA[<div>I would use this book in a kindergarten classroom. This is a great book for children to work on their fluency. I would also use this book during their free reading time. I would give the children a whisper phone and ask them to read it to themselves. This would allow the children to focus on the way that they sound reading the rhyming words and help the fluency of their reading on their own.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I would use this book in a third grade classroom. I would allow the children to read this book on their own as it is a simple text with a lot of meaning. I would ask the children to use sticky notes as they read to mark the pages that stood out to them and at the end decide the theme and what the book means to them. I would then have children gather in small groups to discuss their different ideas and come up with one main idea as a group to share with the class. </div>]]></description>

The story line is easy to follow so I think that first graders would be able to work with this book on their own or in small groups. After reading the book I would ask the children to make their own stories using only pictures. I would ask them to share their stories with small groups.</div>]]></description>
