For billboards they would place them at bus stops and the on the buses. you would also see them in town centres and malls. they do this because these areas are very big public places and people will be more to see it. the same could be said for magazines and DVDs, you would find them in in supermarkets and in some cases smaller stores, which are also public places. when they publish books, they would place them in a books stores and maybe the occasional library for that there are the best places to get book and it will be more likely to be found(it's also a public place).

Doctor who can be seen from a variety of places. the most common place that you will be able to view it would be these following BBC channel Networks; BBC One, BBC America, BBC HD and BBC One HD. As far as streaming goes, there are variety of sites that it can be downloaded and streamed from. here are some examples; iTunes, Amazon prime video, Vudu, Xbox and google play. We also need to bear in mind that these are a few examples of legal sites, it is guaranteed that there will be many other that it will be streamed from as well, those being less legal and in some cases straight up pirating. with cinema releases, doctor who cinema release are not as common this year, however there two cinema releases happening. one is the old 1979 doctor will be screening across Australia on the 24th of November. the other is the 2017 doctor who Christmas that will be screening across North america and Australian the 27 of December.

Doctor who age restrictions
Doctor who had for the most part a age rating of 10+ or PG which means people aged ten and older can watch this show and depending on the episode, younger children can watch it with the guidance of the their parents. though in recent years when Peter Capaldi become the doctor, the series seemed to have took a slightly dark tone in its episodes cover more mature themes like the concept of life and death, thus the show was bumped up to an rating of 12+ which means only people aged 12 and older can watch this. this may have changed due to the natural progression of the plot just happening to be more mature in content or the BBC may just decided to aim for a sightly older demographic in the audience.
Doctor who controversy
As popular as doctor who is, there has been many controversial moments throughout the years. The most recent example being the massive debate between fans about the new thirteenth doctor being revealed as a woman. have of the fans are happy about Jodie Witticker taking stage as the new doctor where the other half is furious about this sudden transition. Another example was the Dark Water controversy in 2014. Hundreds of complaints were sent to OFCOM when the death reveal of the character Missy turned out very disturbing and off putting.
