When I think about a project the idea that comes to my mind is a table with some flour on it (which represents the very first idea I have) and little by little many other ingredients (students' ideas) are added to make a dish (the final project).
Many times, the initial idea for a project is just the starting point, and as you work on it and gather more information, new ideas and perspectives emerge, leading to a more refined and polished final product.
It's important to be open to new ideas and approaches, and to be willing to adapt and evolve your project as needed. Just like in baking, sometimes the best recipes come from experimenting with different ingredients and techniques until you find the perfect combination. So I think that it is important to keep an open mind and enjoy the creative process which must include children's ideas as well.

When I think about projects I think about playing with Building Blocks, you always need to start from the initial brick (an idea) and slowly shape your project brick by brick. Sometimes some activities seem good but then you realize they are not, so you take out one brick and replace it for another one, or move that activity to another place/moment so the project makes more sense. The final product can be a work of art or a simple wall, but I think the process itself is extremely important.
