I chose this place because it is city and nature at the same time which allows there to be more to do with my family.

 Hokkaido Natural Disaster History:
There has only been one natural disaster in Hokkaido and that was an Earthquake/Tsunami  and it happened in 1993.

Living Preparations:  Put important fragile things in something safe so earthquakes don't destroy them.
Have a safe shelter for Earthquakes and Tsunamis. Have a medium sized home so earthquakes don't destroy a big one.
