When I started this course, I rated myself at 7 based on my foundation of nearly 20 years of experience as a Lead Montessori Teacher. That background gave me a deep appreciation for building strong relationships with my little learners and setting up a prepared environment where students can thrive. Now, after completing this EPP training, my confidence has reached a 10. This course has perfectly bridged the gap between my Montessori roots and the public school sector by giving me concrete tools like the CAP method for writing objectives and structured strategies for lesson cycles. Combining two decades of hands-on teaching experience with these new, evidence-based public school strategies makes me feel entirely equipped and ready to lead a highly effective EC–6 classroom on day one.

Based on my prior experience in a classroom setting and what I have learned in this CERT program, I feel fairly certain of my effectiveness in the classroom. There is always more to learn and practices that evolve over time; however, depending on the content, I will be prepared to teach effectively.

I rated myself an 8 at the beginning and now with this extra information, I'm rating myself at 10. While I know there's much more to learn about being a teacher, I am feeling fairly confident.

The knowledge and strategies I have learned have increased my confidence and prepared me to create engaging, student-centered lessons. I also feel more equipped to meet the needs of diverse learners and establish a positive classroom environment where all students can be successful. Although I know there is always room to grow as an educator, I now feel well prepared to be an effective teacher and continue improving throughout my career

Based on my experience in the classroom, I feel confident that I would be able to teach a lesson effectively. However, I still have much more to learn as an educator through experience and this program.

I rate myself a 8/10 based on the number of years I have been working in education as a special education behavior paraprofessional. I have experience in working with special populations in the field of ABA on the clinical side but been in the school system for about four years. An area of growth is learning my districts standard methods and the paperwork and deadline process for IEPS and ARDS.

At the beginning of this course I rated myself a 6.5/10. Now that I am at the end of the course, I would give myself an 8/10. I believe this course has taught me essential classroom management and lesson planning skills that I will take with me into this new school year. By implementing these skills, I believe my class will run smoother and I will be equipped to help my students with individual needs and achieve academic growth. I am sure I will still have room to grow and will continue learning, but I feel that I have a stronger foundation and a sufficient bank of knowledge.

I think I am maybe better than 5 but I believe there is no limit to learning and I am eager to learn more and I really want to improve and keep improving to be the best teacher.

As I am just beginning my teaching journey and education, I would rate myself a 6. While I am eager to learn and motivated to be an effective teacher, I know there is much more to learn and grow from to be a very effective teacher in the classroom.

I would say I started the class at 5/10 but now I am excited to get back to the classroom.

I would rate myself a 7 out of 10. I am confident in my ability to teach and build positive relationships with the students, but I also recognize I need to grow in certain areas. I look forward to taking this course and improving in these areas.
