5. Minor Disruptions was another thing I learned. I have students in my class right now who make unnecessary noises and move too much during the lessons. We give them looks to get them to stop. Student misbehavior within the classroom are a direct result of the teacher's environment. I aim to make my music classroom a loving, caring, and safe environment to enhance student learning. 
2. It is very important that we remember Glasser's and Maslow's hierarchy of needs, as sometimes when students misbehave, it is because their basic human needs are not being met. 
3. Limit the number of rules in the classroom to between 3-5 and make sure they are written in positive language. This is something I am working on myself, in that when I tell students what to do, I sometimes don't think about the wording until it is too late and it was already stated in the negative. Any more than 5 rules, and students will forget them. Also remember that students are constantly going to need redirection and to be re-taught the rules and procedures. 
4. Do not overreact when it comes to minor disruptions. Minor disruptions, while annoying, do not necessarily affect the flow of the lesson and student learning, so knowing when to just ignore and when to redirect is something that I am working at in my own teaching. 
5. Consequences NEED to be logical and match the behavior. They also need to be documented for the teacher's own protection, and organized in some form or fashion. 2.) Create a shared vision with my class by making and posting SMART Goals that are measurable, achievable, realistic, and timely. I also use a growth mindset when achieving these goals by continually working at them and making ourselves better and better.
3.) The consequences should be known by the student and the cause and effect relationship of those consequences should be explained.
4.) For minor disruptions in the classroom, I can take a quick pause during instructional time, leave a note on the student's desk, or tap the student's desk quietly to redirect them.  
5.) Add variety to my lessons so the students do not get bored.
