My expectations
for our course are much because I would like to study the part of the
past of authors and works that I don't know yet. I also think that Literature with
Philosophy will be the subject that will make us think a lot.
B)We study Literature to know  thoughts of people who came
before us and that changed the history. Infact, in my opinion, without
some works that we study today, our life would be empty.
C)For me Literature is an occasion to change my opinion on many
things. I imagine Literature as a collection of colours that will fill
the empty space that the other subjects created.
D)I confess that this question make me think a lot. When we grow
up we will be destinated to choose what to be. So finally I understand
that studying Literature will serve us to grow not only culturally but
also as a person. I also understood that by studying literature and
other subjects, we also learn things that we need every day, and this doesn’t include the

d)Why don’t we study the telephone directory? I guess you’ve dealt with literary texts for years now but every time I ask my students the above question I see, from their reactions, that somehow it comes as unexpected and it puzzles them. What is our teacher talking about? Of course we study Shakespeare and not the telephone directory but… WHY?

Many times happens that we study through books interesting things but don't understand their true message and true beauty. So to learn better in my opinion we have to travel a lot. To be better students we can also use the vocabulary if we don't know the word's meaning, take notes and help each other in case of need.
