The bell tower, begun in 1173 as the third and final structure of the city’s cathedral.

 It was designed to stand 185 feet high and was made with white marble. Three of its eight stories had been completed when the uneven part of the building in the soft ground became noticeable. At that time, Italy couldn’t fix it, so the construction was on hold for almost a century.

I would really like to visit the Leaning Tower of Pisa because it’s a really interesting building and I want to know what does it feels like when you are inside de tower.

When the Civil War ended, France gifted this statue to the Americans and that is the reason why millions of people visit it all the time. A time of happiness and celebration.

We can see the statue from the famous Twin Towers. I know that because I went there, but  I couldn't visit this amazing landmark.

Despite the crowdedness, the charm about this place is that it represents freedom for all the country and it makes a lot of women feel good about themselves because this statue is represented as a woman. The crown is an important part because it makes reference to all the seas around the world.

Christ the Redeemer is an Art Deco statue of Jesus Christ in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, created by French sculptor Paul Landowski and built by Brazilian engineer Heitor da Silva Costa, in collaboration with French engineer Albert Caquot. Romanian sculptor Gheorghe Leonida sculpted the face.

A symbol of Christianity around the world, the statue has also become a cultural icon of both Rio de Janeiro and Brazil and was voted one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.

A massive restoration of the statue began in 2010. The works consisted of cleaning, replacement of the mortar, restoration of the iron structure and waterproofing of the monument. During the renovation, vandals attacked the statue and spray-painted one arm.
