It was only a category 3, but in that area were it hit, they have a levy that keeps all the water from the ocean in, and that levy broke and all the water came out; flooding the whole city. It was devastating for all the families. I’m talking 6,7 feet of water. People had to stand on the roofs. Rescue boats had to come and save everybody. So many people died. The cat’s go up to 5. If they break the record of cat 5, the weather people will indeed add 6. The cat’s are based on a certain speed.
