Canceling someone is a public reaction to a particular person's objectionable opinions or actions usually takes the form of a de facto boycott of the target's work and an online campaign to draw attention to the perceived offenses and damage the wrongdoer's cultural reputation. Cancel culture can be for anything and I mean anything even if your right or wrong.  Some targets of cancel culture have been fired or suspended by their employers, inhibiting their ability to earn money. Pretty much no one is safe one day you can be loved and the next day you are getting hate for a joke that a lot of people liked but just because it’s a trend people will try to get rid of you.
In its current form, cancel culture is anonymous, fuelled by a pack mentality, and intensely polarising – “I am right, you are wrong.” It teaches us that if someone does something wrong, or champions someone or something that we may not like or agree with, then we must stop supporting them immediately.
