I signed up for this class, honestly, out of necessity and by chance, but also because I want to work primarily with children after I graduate, specifically autistic children. Obviously school is where children spend a great deal of their time, and ensuring that these children are afforded fair and supportive.

Alessandra (Allie). Destressing looks like sleeping and spending time in nature and tending to my plants!

I am not, but that doesn't mean that this class will not change my mind!

If you are not in the process of school social work certification, how can you apply what you learn in this class to your social work career?
Because I want to work with kids and much of their time is spent at school, anything learned in this class will be relevant to supporting my clients

I signed up for this class because I want to work within a school system as a social worker and this class will help them learn the different roles I could have and how to be effective as well. So I am on the track for a school social work certificate My favorite place to destress is to be at home with my dogs and cuddle with them with either a book in my hand or watching a movie that I enjoy. Normally that movie is one of the Harry Potter series. 
I am currently working as an ABA technician with Therapeutic Alliance. My role within this agency is to provide services to the clients that I have and making sure they are on the track they need. I hope to have many roles in the future as a school system. I am currently still looking for a field placement within a school system.
