The American Dream is a lot of people's dream because they want to achieve their hopes of getting the career they wish to accomplish but due to the circumstances many people come from there is many obstacles, and people give up on that dream due to them not having the resources they're in need. The American only qualifies to people who are desperately in need of a better future because they live in poor conditions or come from a poor country. People from different countries want to have the same opportunity as people who are born and live in America because many people come from nothing and wish to have the same opportunity as many people who live in America.

I interviewed my sister and I asked her what the American Dream was to her and she told me the American Dream to her was to be able to accomplish things, to be treated equally, and to also have the equal opportunities to have to accomplish your career you want to do. My sister also mentioned how the American is easier for a certain group of people compared to immigrants who have to start from the bottom, for example people that have the opportunity to enter America have it easier because they wouldn't feel ashamed but an immigrant that has to enter illegally have to hide their roots.

"Why the American Dream is more attainable in some crisis than others" by Greg Rosalsky

"The places where the American Dream is something close to pure fiction have a lot of bad things going on. They have high rates of poverty, significant inequality, a large fraction of single-parent households, bad schools, and other factors that might explain why they see a lower rate of upward mobility than other places."(Rosalsky)

There are high rates of poverty in America, and the other problem is that there are many communities in America that don't have economic conectedness.

"In 2022, do Americans believe in the 'American Dream'?" by Linley Sander

"Only 30% of Americans overall believe in the American dream and see it as very or somewhat attainable for themselves personally, while 9% believe in it but say it is very or somewhat unattainable."(Sander)

The percentage of people who believe the 'American Dream' is somewhat high meanwhile the percentage of people who believe that it is not attainable is extremely low.

"Among people who believe there is such a thing as the American dream, many define it as an ability to achieve economic success with hard work. Others talk about living a life of freedom without government interference, or name specific markers of achieving the dream, such as home ownership and being able to pay for their children to attend college.(Sander)

The American Dream doesn't need to be one thing it could be a financial thing, equal opportunities, or even a dream for future generations to accomplish things we couldn't accomplish.

"People who said the American dream is unattainable for themselves were asked in an open-end question why they believe that to be the case. Many cite income inequality in the U.S., personal financial struggles, an inability to work, and current economic challenges as reasons that the American dream is not attainable for them."(Sander)

The 9% that voted that the 'American Dream' is unobtainable and the answer is a fact not an opinion that people struggle financially and they sometimes don't have money for themselves because they needed to waste it on rent or even on market.
