Amenhotep-III reigned from approximately 1390 BCE-1353 BCE. Ahmenhotep III is regarded as one of the best critical thinking, decision making pharaohs of its time. In the fifth year of his reign, Amenhotep-III conducted campaigns against a territory called Akuyata in Nubia. He did this to maintain peace with all surrounding countries including the Nubians in the south. Thutmose-IV was the father of amenhotep-III, and his mother was Mutemwiya. He built multiple famous buildings including a Mortuary Temple to represent Colossi of Memnon. Amenhotep-III married Tiy, a commoner.

During his reign Amenhotep-III displayed an effective religious pharoah, successfully fulfilling his role of spreading the religious policy. His primary devotion was towards God Amun-Ra, building a statue to represent them. Ptah’s wife Sekhment was also honoured as he built 600 statues in Karnak. He went and built multiple temples to represent the gods Re-Harakhte at Heliopolis, Thoth in Hermopolis, Hathor and Nekhbet at El Kab, and Montu and Mut in Karnak.

During Amenhotep-III's reign he built numerous buildings, spreading across Nubia and Egypt to showcase his excellent fulfilment of his role as pharaoh. At Karnak, Amenhotep-III built the Luxor temple to represent Ma’at and his faith. During this, he destroyed the fourth pylon to create a third new pylon that would have columns and a decorated forecourt. Amenhotep-III would also build temples at Elephantine, Wadi es-Sebua, Aniba, Kawa, and Sesebi. Opened limestone quarries and a mortuary temple in Thebes at which is mostly ruined, displaying the colossi of Memnon. These markings highlight Amenhotep-III's successful participation in Egypt's religious and cultural landscape.

Amenhotep III maintained peace and asserted Egypt's dominance through strategic communication with surrounding countries like Babylonia, The Mitanni and The Hittites. He communicated through the Amarna letters between countries to show power and connection between empires. Amenhotep-III maintained the same foreign policy that was laid down by his predecessors strongly. His hard-work established power and influence over other empires. Making war rare and that Amenhotep could maintain ma'at, becoming a successful and praised pharoah. However, facing one war with the nubia based on a tablet with Amenhotep-III winning. Furthermore, keeping peace with all neighbouring countries and becoming a successful and effective pharaoh.
