The natural wonders chosen in the area are: the Cathedral and the Carpets of Comayagua, the "Salto del Ángel" in the Villa de San Antonio, "Las Cuevas de Taulabé" in the municipality of the same name and the Plaza Cívica La Amistad San Pablo de Siguatepeque.
Comayagua is the religious capital, and its streets with the colonial atmosphere that characterize it attract thousands of tourists, mainly during Holy Week.

While Intibucá maintains a predominantly Lenca population, La Esperanza is mostly Ladino (mestizo). Interestingly, they share the central park.

In mid-June the festival of choro and wine is celebrated in which hundreds of fans of choro and wine attend, also at the end of October a folkloric meeting is held in which more than 60 dance groups from all over the country attend.
