Great Question; the rule of thumb is # of minutes is equivalent to grade level per night
 Grade 2= 20mins
Grade 3=30mins
etc.
I, myself do not assign weekly homework; however students may have homework in other subjects. I will give out a Word Problem at the beginning of the week that will be due by the end. Any other work sent home would be work not completed in class; which hopefully does not happen often. Students will be expected to study for tests/multiplication facts; but as far as Math and Language are concerned; there is not set schedule for homework.
