The skin was clean and healthy I did dark polish what I do is start by shaping the nails to the desired length and shape. Then, I carefully take care of the cuticles by gently pushing them back and removing any excess skin. After that, I give a relaxing hand and arm massage to help relieve tension and improve circulation. Next, I exfoliate the hands to remove any dead skin cells and make them feel soft and smooth. I also moisturize the hands and nails to keep them hydrated and healthy. Finally, I apply nail polish in the color of your choice to give a polished and finished look.

Annaliese Jones

Assessor - Sally Holding - 8/5/24

Final assessments 1 - 8/5/24

203 client care and communication - Pass

206 waxing – PASS all areas

208 pedicure - Pass

218 lash lift - Merit

Professional appearance and treatment area organised well for all treatments planned (listed above).

I prompted your consultation with your client prior to starting the treatments and to discuss your treatment plan. Basic consultation questioning with closed questions and limited discussion for each treatment. Client record card complete and patch test for the lash lift and tint is recorded.

Nice manner with your client and giving guidance on products and equipment used.

206 waxing – Good application of hot wax and warm wax methods. Good guidance given to your client to prepare for each area to be treated. Prompted to remove hair to the full bikini line. Regular temperature checks of the wax and all hair removed safely and effectively.

218 lash lift – Good knowledge of the product use by using the medium shield for the length of the natural lashes. Demonstrated confidence with the procedure and use of products/equipment, as you positioned the lashes very well to the shield and applied the chemical solutions according to manufacturer guidelines. Great results achieved.

208 Pedicure – Good analysis of the feet, no dry skin and healthy nails. No contra indications but gave me verbally examples such as verruca.

Treatment procedure slightly out of regular routine however still completed the treatment well with the use if all required products and equipment. Dark polish applied neatly to all nails.

Natasha Byrnes - 9/5/24

203 Client care and communication PASS

205 Promote products and services PASS

204 Provide facial skin care PASS

222 Head massage PASS

207 Provide manicure treatments MERIT

210 Provide eyelash and eyebrow treatments EYEBROW SHAPE PASS EYELASH TINT MERIT

Client care was good in so far as you checked on their comfort throughout the treatments and had a good seating position throughout for you and them, avoiding strain. You can be quite quiet so work on confidence with communicating. Consultations were quite basic, try asking more open questions and really getting to know the client, remembering to use the record card to guide you and fill it in after with anything relevant to the treatment. Before starting and throughout guide the client through the treatment plan and talk about what you are doing and to products/techniques you are using. This also helps with sales as you are teaching them about the products they can use at home. Share relevant treatments they could have in the future that they might benefit from. You set up well for your facial and looked a good routine. The massage was good, you used varied techniques and checked in with your client regarding pressure. The mask could be thicker and neater, make sure you are applying down the neck. Your head massage was used at an appropriate time enhancing the enjoyability of the facial. Your client was relaxed and pleased with the treatment. Be more confident with the technique and don't or get to give aftercare for all treatments. The manicure was setup well and you adapted the treatment to suit your client. Timing was good. You talked through some of the steps and processes/products of the manicure ad checked on their comfort throughout. The French polish was consistent and you did well on such short nails. Improving this type of polish will come with practice. The client was very happy and your aftercare advice was very thorough, advising about products and how to keep the nails nice. It shows that You enjoy this treatment. Brow shape and lash tint was setup nicely. You had a male client so adapted well to allow or this and picked appropriate colour tint for him. Application technique was good.
