He liked music and liked to wright books, stories, and music. His dad died in the military so he never met him. He did have a step dad, but they did not get along. The step dad got mad at Travis and threw all of the music and stories he wrote into a fire. Travis then beats him with a fire poker almost killing him. He helps clean it up with Casey so Casey will not tell anybody.  At his house talking with a little kid named Christopher, Ken's son. He later talked to the publisher and made a meeting at the airport. Travis later gets a call from his friend Joe and asks if he can get picked up. since he jumped out of a car and hurt his leg. Joe told Travis what happened and finds out that the twins he knows were killed. Casey drives him to where Joe is. Travis went death for two days but survived and Casey live with not many injuries.
