Writing gives form to the ideas in our heads and gets them out of our heads. Oftentimes, Freewriting has helped me beat writer's block. When I am freewriting, it's like pouring all of my thoughts unfiltered into the sheet of paper. We discussed among our group members and some of us prefer idea mapping among other activities because it helps to visually connect our ideas since we 
create different shapes and with this we can actually relate our points while drafting. One of us prefer asking questions since it gives  a perspective to think about the topic once the answers start coming in.
One of us prefer brainstorming  because it explores the topic , develop ideas, gives solutions to the problem. One of us prefer free-writing because it helps you develop your abilities as a writer, also it promotes process and not outcome.

I prefer free writing over other methods of writing because we don't have to think much while writing and there is less chances of missing out ideas in any given subject matter. There is no pressure in mind that our writing has to be in certain way. We can just go with flow as we want. We also build self confidence as we write what we want.
