However, I took a virtual seminar on writing last month.  Part of the workshop involved writing a paragraph.  One of the issues with the workshop was that at the very end, all of the presenters' microphones quit working, and they couldn't figure out what went wrong.  It was right at the end, however, so all we missed was being able to share our writing and the closing remarks.  They emailed us missing information, and hopefully have figured out the problem for this month's workshop.

Most students stuck to the basic script, but were able to accomplish the task. Riley's submission made my whole week. The new virtual experience was extremely exhausting, I felt as though I was “on-call” twenty-four hours a day. As an introvert, it was really hard for me to “people” constantly (emails, zooms, phone calls, class dojo, texts, google meets)... it was never ending. On top of the virtual demands, I was in the process of rebuilding from the fire, dealing with the pandemic/shut down and working (I work PRN for Baptist Health). In the month of May I reached my breaking point following the death of George Floyd and everything that came along with it, I spent two days in a room crying and couldn’t quite explain why…. Eventually I realized that it was too connected to everything (national news, daily covid press conferences, virtual meetings, texts, calls, rebuilding…).
