Both approaches have their pros and cons and I think that it's impossible to only employ conversation or preservation. This is an idea that was revisited in the video from earlier in the year. Slow violence isn't necessarily an action to injustice someone, rather a consistent decision process that inherently disadvantages one group of people, usually those who are poor.
