Endless inventory is perhaps one of the biggest examples of fandom, it's like almost like an obsession with a certain artist and their music, something similar to the more modern music fanatics of the present age and music collectors, it makes the fan feel like a "cognitive shareholder" (Ratliff, Page 111).
