University Education
- JCU - covers HIV/AIDS in fair depth, doctors interested in discussing FGM as a result of global health experiences
- Griffith - mainly related to infectious diseases and not much culturally regarding sexual health practices and not much in terms of public health
- Not much information about LGBTIQ issues provided in the course
- cultural taboos in cultures not being covered well and the possibilities available for medical treatment


3 things not HIV/AIDS
- LGBTIQ health/sexual/issues + particularly gender reassignment
- cultural competency in dealing with contraception and a basic understanding of practices (e.g. FGM) + clinical skills in sexual health history taking
