For example, she restored the Church of England and created religious stability by passing multiple acts known as the Elizabethan Religious Settlement.  These actions established  a "a comprehensive middle way between Roman Catholicism and Protestantism." (10 Major Accomplishments of Queen Elizabeth I of England) The Queen also cleared debts and created foreign policies.  Not only was she able to provide stability for her country religiously, but politically and economically as well.
          In addition, the Queen's support of various activities helped her name of being one the the greatest monarchs in English history.  Her safe environment for the arts and literature resulted in the the production of many great works. The encouragement allowed literary works by "William Shakespeare, Ben Jonson and Christopher Marlowe; the poets Edmund Spenser and Sir Philip Sidney" (10 Major Accomplishments of Queen Elizabeth I) to thrive and flourish. The Queen also oversaw a period of great exploration and successfully led her people in war, defeating the most powerful man in the world at the time, King Phillip II of Spain. By maintaining the peace in her country, she earned the love of her people.
