Shirt

100% cotton
Machine wash
Made in Portugal

There are buttons on the shirt which I am guessing are made from a sustainable material, due to the brand pushing for a more sustainable approach to their clothes.

The production of the cotton material is Spinning, weaving and dying

One benefit of the shirt being made from 100% cotton is the ability to wear the shirt all year round due to the fabric being temperature sensitive allowing it to adjust to your temperature.

Cotton is a hypoallergenic meaning that it is very rare for someone to have an allergic reaction or cause any irritation from the material.

Due to cotton being a natural fibre it means the fabric is less toxic compared to other potential material choices.

Cotton is commonly used for the above reasons and also due to the fabric being commonly soft and well known to be a comfortable material.

Making this shirt in cotton was has many benefits to it as well as opening up larger amount of potential wearers of the garment. This is due to the fabric not having many restriction on who can wear it and how it can be worn.

There are however various disadvantages to using cotton such as the material being expensive. This is due to the fabric being considered as expensive, even though cotton is considered one of the least expensive natural fibre materials, as opposed to a cheaper synthetic option.

The shirt has the potential to shrink due to it being made from cotton. Shrinking happens when the tension is released from the fabric through washing or steam pressing. this is why with cotton fabric garments it is important to make sure you follow the wash instructions.

The natural fibres over time can be easily worn down and can get easily damaged in damp conditions and even fade during sunlight. This would suggest that the lifetime of this garment will be shorter then a more durable material.

To make the garment more sustainable I would look into changing the cotton material into a linen or another more sustainable material. This is to avoid the large amount of water usage needed to make cotton garments, as 20,000 litres of water will make approximately a simple white t-shirt and pair of jeans.

Made in China
The main fabric: Wool 76%, Polyester 24%
Fabric (sleeve) : Cotton 95.3%, Spandex 4.7%
The material inside: Polyester 100%
Not waterproof, not oil-proof, slightly windproof
Do not wash, do not bleach, conventional dry cleaning
An all-black baseball jacket with red black buttons and white offset graffiti on the sleeves. The graffiti is young and modern.
Negative: First of all, because wool is a natural fiber, so they do not have the performance of anti-bacterial and insect-resistant, and the fabric after a long time will appear yellow situation. Second, high quality clothing made of wool is usually dry-cleaned, because the wool will shrink after washing, and the wool will drop and pilling, etc., so the wool fabric will be more difficult to manage. Finally, the price of wool will be relatively high. For example, customized suits made of pure wool basically start with 1000 pound. Of course, you can use wool to blend with other chemical fibers if you want a cheaper one.
