Hello everyone, my name is Fatima Jawad and welcome to my project. Before I start I would like

to state that I Fatima Jawad did my work on my own for this project. I worked hard and tried my best

to make it creative. I enjoyed this assignment and am proud of the work that I put into it. :)

I am very excited to talk about my future career, as I am very passionate about it!

I've researched about this many times. To speak upon my knowledge and summarize this article, a child life specialist

is a healthcare provider who works with children during hard times and helps them deal with

things by using coping skills like play. A child life specialist Helps a child and their families process and

cope with the medical situation they are in. A child life specialist needs to take classes about child development.

From what I learned through research, the pay scale falls between $52k & $65k. It just seems so interesting

to me! Seems tough, but nothing is easy. I believe it is something I'd want to pursue. :)

My favorite thing about this course was the flip-grid assessment, discussion #3

favorite teacher/school. I enjoyed making that video and I also enjoyed watching my

classmate's experiences with their favorite teacher! That assignment took us back to memory lane,

I loved every part of it! I'll be honest, I liked this class a lot. Maybe my favorite class this semester.

I would recommend this specific course to anyone who's majoring in psychology! Mrs.Buchanan, thank you for being a wonderful teacher. I enjoyed taking this course with you! :)

In chapter 8, I choose Puberty from section 1, pages 225 & 226. The reason why I feel like this information is the best from

chapter 8 is because this section talks about how you grow into an adult after puberty. How different you may look from your body

type to your height to your face. How beautiful and natural puberty is. I loved this section because puberty is something we all go

through. It's something we all have in common! It's something we all can share our personal stories on.

On page 272, section 3 (Social Development) the most important piece of information to me is connecting in groups.

My little cousin who just came from overseas recently, has a hard time socializing in school. She always seems in her own world.

She feels like most people are talking about her mainly because she doesn't fully understand the English language yet. She feels

like no matter what, she does not fit in. She's currently a 7th grader, at Woodworth Middle School. I feel bad for her. This section stood

out to me because I remembered her. It is very important mentally to have a crowd of friends. I feel like if she had at least one friend here

like she did in her hometown, she would adjust more to living here.

Feedback on my results

• I agree with them because they turned out mostly accurate for me! I learned that if you take quizzes like that, and answer them honestly, you will get accurate results and they can help you figure out what you want to pursue if you are not so sure!

• Relate results to Chapter 10 or the “quiz”

  I would like to relate my results to Chapter 10 section 3 "Finding a Career" page 289. This section specifically talks about when you would think about finding a career and how you would begin, what influences you to go on and follow that career?

  
  

Through all the life stages we covered, I'd like to talk about early childhood from chapter 5. I have so many memories of my early childhood. It's fascinating

how I can remember many things from my childhood. Growing up, I was super close to my mom. I have the most memorable memories with her. My mother was and is my best friend. When I was around 6 years old, my mom bought me plastic kitchen stuff. I even had a little plastic oven where I would "bake" cake in it.

We used to cook together for fun. I'll never forget these times. That's why this life stage out of all the life stages we covered was my favorite.

To be specific, Section 4 of Chapter 5, "Emotional development" is my favorite because I have an emotional connection to my mom, who is my best friend.

Wow! This is a hard one! Many topics were interesting to me from this course. But since I can only choose two, I'd have to say Chapter 5, "Early Childhood";

and also, Chapter 10, "Constructing an adult life." I loved early childhood because I love children and that is going to be my future career, with children. Anything

about children just catches my eye! Now, in chapter 10, to be specific, section 3 "Finding a career" page 289. This section is so interesting to me. I love reading about ways to explore and learn about new careers. Or sometimes, you have a career picked out, you just want to learn more about it!
