         <title>Manali, Nestled In the Himalayas. </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>It is situated 32.23ºN latitude and 77.1º E longitude, in the cradle of the Himalayan mountains in Himachal Pradesh.&nbsp;<br><br>Nearest airport - Bhuntar Airport<br>Nearest Railway - Jogindernagar Railway Station.&nbsp;<br><br>Manali is my favorite because:&nbsp;</div><ul><li>Even the littlest of things contain beauty, from the smiling faces of the denizens to the Hadimba Temple and the majestic Himalayas.&nbsp;</li><li>Another reason for Manali being one of the best hill stations to me is credited to the nearby villages, like Gulaba and Raison, as they are less visited by tourists and are being quiet and contagiously placid, spreading its calm to all of its visitors.&nbsp;</li></ul><div>Trishika Das<br>9-B -7&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>&nbsp;State and the place where Dalhousie lie-&nbsp;<br>Dalhousie is a small town in the state of Himachal Pradesh, India, situated in a very spectacular area, surrounded by forests and a few historic monuments.<br><br>Physiographic Division -<br>Dalhousie is a hill station in Chamba district, in the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It is situated on five hills and has an elevation of 1,970 m (6,460 ft) above sea level.<br><br>Latitude and Longitude -<br>The latitude of Dalhousie, Himachal Pradesh, India is 32.539555, and the longitude is 75.970955 (76).<br><br>The mode of transport -<br>We boarded our Air India flight on the 22nd December of 2020. We first took our flight from the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose airport at 6:30am . From Kolkata we reached Delhi and we had to spend two hours at the Delhi airport after which we boarded again and took a flight to Jammu. After arriving at Jammu we booked a car to Dalhousie and reached Dalhousie by the midnight of 22nd December.<br><br>Nearest airport and railway station -&nbsp;<br>The city does have an airport but tourists from different parts of the country can land at the airport Gaggal in Kangra to reach this hill station. Flights from Delhi to Jammu, Flights From Chandigarh to Jammu.<br><br>Pathankot railway station which is the nearest railway station to Dalhousie is directly connected via rail.<br><br>What did i enjoyed in Dalhousie -<br><br>The pure and peaceful environment of Dalhousie has always attracted my soul. Moreover I love snowfall and snowfalls can be very commonly seen in Dalhousie during winters.<br><br>Dalhousie is popularly known as the Switzerland of India, Dalhousie enchants me with its beautiful scenic views, picturesque snow-capped mountains and its mesmerizing natural beauty so I love visiting this place.<br><br>Aditi Agarwal 9b roll 1<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Darjeeling - </strong><strong><em>Queen of the Hills</em></strong><strong><br> </strong>Lying amidst the slopes of the Lesser Himalayas and blanketed by emerald green plantations of tea, Darjeeling is a picturesque town in the Indian state of <em>West Bengal</em> situated in <em>27°3′N latitude and 88°16′E longitude</em>.<br><br>How we reached Darjeeling?<br>We took a train from Kolkata to New Jalpaiguri (NJP) and then hired a car to reach Darjeeling.<br>Nearest Railway - <em>New Jalpaiguri</em>&nbsp; <br>Nearest Airport - <em>Bagdogra Airport</em> <br> <br>I enjoyed visiting Darjeeling because :<br> • It is a treat to any <em>nature lover</em> like me with a view of Himalayas (Kanchenjunga), lush greenery, rolling hills, dense forests, valleys, beautiful flowers and tea garden which is truly mesmerizing.<br> • It offers one exciting and thrilling <em>adventurous sports</em> like paragliding, white water rafting, trekking and a ride on the ropeway.<br><br>Ayushi Larha&nbsp;<br>IX B<br>Roll No.26&nbsp;<br><br><br></div>]]></description>
