As a group we agreed that technology tools can be incorporated in multiple ways. When starting off with technology it can help students gain new knowledge about the concept by teachers presenting the tools. That way the students understand how to work the technology tool. This helps students see visuals instead of just working through the problem without understanding. Going deeper into problem solving instead of just solving problems. With using these tools it helps benefit what they already know in math.

It is important to teach students how to use calculators because they are such an integral part of daily life.
We should teach them when and where to use them so they do not become reliant on them.
This means also teaching them when it is better to use paper and pencil or mental math to solve a problem.
