Experience 1: As a former college basketball player, starting off playing basketball while I was little, the coaches used me for my height, and I knew to eventually just catch the ball and put it in the orange ring above my head, but I had also seen how others do it in front of me as well as on tv professionally.

Experience 2: Watching my 3 year-old become into the toddler he is, we will go sit at his dad's football practice and as his dad is coaching the players on what to do and how to move, I will look to him as he tries to orchestrate whatever his dad told his players to do. He would then get in certain positions or grab the ball and hold it a certain way, or maybe even throw and catch and run exactly as he sees it in that environment.

Experience 1: As a paraprofessional, I got a chance to see first hand what it would be like as a teacher. I had a chance to take small groups during instruction time, and saw the many different learners that was within the groups. I saw some that if I explained it differently from the teacher, they caught on, but some needed more explaining and break down of the content. So as I would go home each night, just like any other teacher, I would think of ways how I can present it different to that child to continue to reach them.

Experience 2: As a former coach, I would have games that we won, and some that we would lose. Either win or lose, I had to stay in the office late, or go home each night and think how can we approach the next game differently.. I had to reflect on good or bad to be able to strive more, or get into a position to strive.

Experience 1: My freshman year of college, I had a project that had to be completed with 3 other students. Luckily, 2 of them were athletes, and we athletes stayed together no matter the sport, but as we were completing the project, we had to break down sections and communicate how we can tie each others sections into one another in order to become one whole.

Experience 2: I had a lesson plan due which we had partners to complete the outline of it if we were working on the same subject in the standards provided. It made it easier because we could point out what we could include, as well as what we could take away to have a better lesson plan.

Experience 1:Coaching basketball, I would break down the dynamics of how to actually move on the court and what to actually do. Because I could tell them to shoot the ball, but does that mean that their feet were square, or aligned with the goal, or them not having a contender in their line of sight. So I had to actually break things down and use real experiences of outcomes as to what will happen.
Experience 2: Teaching my two toddlers colors and numbers, and letters, I can show them cards all day long that shows them the word of the color or the color itself. But if I point out to the the blue cup, or the black shoe, or orange shirt, they will eventually start to learn of those colors.

Experience 1: As I am trying to complete my bachelors, I originally transferred to University of Memphis and was told that they could not accept most of my credits into the school. So, I took it as a sign that I need to learn more, or even refresh my memory on somethings that may need touching up. So as I take these courses, I am focusing more on what I can learn and apply in my classroom.

Experience 2: There is a card game called Spades, and starting off initially, I would just win, from luck to be honest. But as I continued on even with loses, I paid more attention to strategies, or even cheat methods that some people would use so that I could pick it up for my next hand or can spot it.
