I would say I have a high score in openness to new experience. I love change. I wouldn't claim to be highly imaginative, but do enjoy creative activities. I don't excel at coming up with new ideas and strategies but I do an excellent job customizing the base idea and running full force with implementation in most environments. I can lead the charge in new policies, I put positivity in everything I do because I work with a team that can be very resistant to change.  

Observer comment: Nicole spends time putting the finishing touches on an idea. She tends to hang back and listen to all options and opinions before stating hers. 

I would rate myself a low in conscientiousness. I tend to have a cluttered office and leave planning activities to the last second.  My lack of planning affects my time management at both work and school. I am great under the pressure of a deadline so my projects and goals are always met and usually on time. I would rate myself high with follow through because I always complete the tasks set for me and even when procrastinating I finish any and every task I agree to even if I don’t have time or it comes at a cost of personal time. 

Observer: Nicole loves follow through, she would benefit from people around her providing more follow through to reduce the amount of time she spends chasing down the information. 

I would give myself a medium, I am outgoing and decisive, I have a difficult time giving in when I feel I am right. While I am self-confident I am not overly competitive because I would rather finish high as a team than beat out other people to get ahead. I love to influence others both followers and my fellow leaders. I strive to help everyone around me realize the potential I see in them. It is very important to me that those around me meet or exceed the expectation set in every given situation. 

Observer: Medium, Nicole is not overly competitive. She is opinionated but not as forward when it is a group she doesn’t know. High in decision making. 

Since I am very outgoing, I spend a lot of time and effort to get to know my team and what their strengths and weaknesses are. I strive to help everyone around me realize the potential I see in them. Because I am easily approached with work and personal issues, followers are usually surprised that my standard rarely waiver for circumstances that can be controlled. I do sometimes struggle with my peers because I am constantly influencing them to hold their team accountable and strive to be better leaders.

I am definitely high in neuroticism. I am passionate about everything I am involved in and I take all failures personally no matter the circumstances. I get carried away with the “whys” of a failure and spend time analyzing how to make it better next time. I am usually decent at hiding my emotions unless I want those around me to know how I am feeling.
