1.)   Get your ID Badge
2.)   VISA/Passport verification
3.)   Pay for classes (this can be a time-consuming process depending on how they pay.)
4.)   Registration for classes
5.)   Pick-up I-20 on 14th floor (document for working within US for foreign students)(This can be a time-consuming process)
6.)   Tour of school
7.)   Orientation in auditorium
8.)   Plagiarism Presentation (this can be done any time after I-20 pick-up)
9.)   Go to specific class to meet professor and receive orientation for class.
Are there any parts of the process that cause resistance; such as, a student will refuse to complete a specific step(s)?
For foreign students, their main goal is to complete their I-20.  Many times they will skip the other steps and go the 14th floor.  They must complete the other steps first before receiving their I-20.
What are some of the areas that create the most confusion for students?
Immigration status 
What are some of the common questions asked by students?
1.)   Where to go next. 
2.)   How to add/drop a class ( How to get to my.Hu to complete this part.) and see how many seats are available for the class.
3.)   How to request a name or address change.
4.)   Password for w-fi
5.)   How to print
Other items that would be helpful to include:
1.)   Add a schedule of classes (schedules are posted on the monitors but it is not enough)
2.)   Access to the welcome packet with info in PDFs.
3.)   How to connect with other students for carpooling
4.)   How to contact other students – IM-ing
5.)   Have a public forum for students to post questions for faculty responses. (Beyond the FAQs) (Nigel and Sabrina have questions posted from all of the initial Adobe Connect seminars held in advance of the registration day that could be used for the FAQs)
