         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>What is the current process?&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></div><div>1.) &nbsp; Get your ID Badge</div><div>2.) &nbsp; VISA/Passport verification</div><div>3.) &nbsp; Pay for classes <em>(this can be a time-consuming process depending on how they pay.)</em></div><div>4.) &nbsp; Registration for classes</div><div>5.) &nbsp; Pick-up I-20 on 14th floor <em>(document for working within US for foreign students)(This can be a time-consuming process)</em></div><div>6.) &nbsp; Tour of school</div><div>7.) &nbsp; Orientation in auditorium</div><div><em>8.)</em>&nbsp; &nbsp;Plagiarism Presentation <em>(this can be done any time after I-20 pick-up)</em></div><div>9.) &nbsp; Go to specific class to meet professor and receive orientation for class.<br><strong>Are there any parts of the process that cause resistance; such as, a student will refuse to complete a specific step(s)?</strong></div><div>For foreign students, their main goal is to complete their I-20.&nbsp; Many times they will skip the other steps and go the 14th floor.&nbsp; They must complete the other steps first before receiving their I-20.</div><div><strong>What are some of the areas that create the most confusion for students?</strong></div><div>Immigration status&nbsp;</div><div><strong>What are some of the common questions asked by students?</strong></div><div>1.) &nbsp; Where to go next.&nbsp;</div><div>2.) &nbsp; How to add/drop a class ( How to get to my.Hu to complete this part.) and see how many seats are available for the class.</div><div>3.) &nbsp; How to request a name or address change.</div><div>4.) &nbsp; Password for w-fi</div><div>5.) &nbsp; How to print</div><div><strong>Other items that would be helpful to include:</strong></div><div>1.) &nbsp; Add a schedule of classes <em>(schedules are posted on the monitors but it is not enough)</em></div><div>2.) &nbsp; Access to the welcome packet with info in PDFs.</div><div>3.) &nbsp; How to connect with other students for carpooling</div><div>4.) &nbsp; How to contact other students – IM-ing</div><div><em>5.)</em>&nbsp; &nbsp;Have a public forum for students to post questions for faculty responses<em>.
