The colonel wants to take over the forest and its resources and destroy the Na'vi beings who inhabit the forest. He tries to recruit and use what the Na'vi cherish the most against them, family and their beloved home the forest (Pandora).

"Jake Sully"

Jake is there for his own benefit, a former marine who had become paralyzed was able to gain use of his legs using an Avatar body (shell). Eventually, his goals change when he falls in love with one of the Na'vi beings.

Works with Na'vi beings and eventually Jake Sully (Avatar) and his team to execute a plan to save Pandora and the Na'vi people from the humans that only want Pandora for its resources and to relocate the Na'vi from their home.

"Grace" - Sa'nok, meaning mother.

Grace worked for hard for a long time establishing a strong caring relationship for the Na'vi people with the human race. She was viewed in a maternal manor and was allowed to build a school to teach English to the Na'vi and human customs.
