They were more adapted to walking upright and standing between 4 ft 9 in and 6 ft 1 in.          <description><![CDATA[<div>This is the skeleton of Turkana Boy, also called Nariokotome Boy, a young Homo erectus who lived 1.5 to 1.6 million years ago. He was discovered in 1984 on the bank of the Nariokotome River near Lake Turkana, Kenya. The boy's age ranged between 7 and 11 years old when he died. It is the most complete early hominin skeleton ever found.</div>]]></description>
