Augustus made extraordinary decisions that really helped his people such as being to engage sexual encounters with married women is forbidden and punished. However, with passing these laws he banished his own daughter, Julia, and his granddaughter, for adultery. (Cassius, 1987) Its very understanding to look at the big picture which is what a ruler should do but with strictly coming at his own family by creating a law for it seems a little skeptical. 

Augustus was able to do what others couldn't. He took under the biggest role and his ruling was under a autocracy. Autocracy was made by Julius. Augustus took the form of dictatorship and allowed to be set under law and order. (McDermott, 1938, pg. 44) He was very tactful and imaginative master of propaganda of many kinds such as creating trust with other lands for expansion of Rome. He knew how to cloak that autocracy in traditionalist forms that would stable and growing generation.

Augustus was very known for this strong choices that really impacted Rome. He was particularly strong about encouraging families to have children and discouraging adultery. This led to extreme changes that impacted laws extraordinary. He was also able to establish a taxation system that allowed a 5% tax on inheritance. The tax would not be paid if family or children were too poor to pay. (Milnor, 2005)

Augustus handled his foreign policies pretty well. The Atlantic was the main issue and he replenished it the best way he could in all areas. Augustus put both rivers under special government and solidifying what Rome already had than on gaining new lands. Overall, he went through big obstacles but he was able to talk to all areas and was able to rely on the client states of the east to act as territorial buffers and areas that could raise their own troops for defense.
