Im ngl at the start of the year I did not like the way you were leading the team (dw i liked you as a person). The team was not headed in the right direction and for some reason u just decided to become somebody we can all look up to. I just wanted to say the way you lead this team now is something the next captain should do…Jaime. Thank you for becoming somebody that we can all model our leadership after and being the guy who is willing to step down to help others along the way. To Vasco, my fellow shooter, even though u left us for golf I'd like to say thank you for being a great friend and teammate. You have always been somebody to look up to and somebody who is there to keep the team in check. GL with college and dw ill play golf w u one day.

To our captain, Migs, I know this year hasn't exactly been easy and we haven't been exactly the easiest team to lead. Anyway despite all that I'd like to say thank you for everything you've done as a captain to make me better. As my teammate the past couple years, you are one of the reasons that I was able to become better and push myself to do more. I'll never forget all the shooting help, teaching me how to be better, and all the 1v1s and shooting bets we make. By the time ur reading this I assume we already have a medal (if we don't uhhhh... dw we still love u) and we couldn't have reached this without you. You've been a great captain, friend, and leader that we can trust on and off the court. I've had the best time playing as ur teammate and fellow wing these past few years and I'll never forget everything that you've done for me. Next year we will all miss seeing u in the hallway and arriving for practice and being there to joke around and laugh with. Hopefully when your reading this we are MISAA Champs, but besides winning, I would like to thank you for being a great captain and showing what it looks like to adjust your style of play in order to win. I may have to admit tho, that at start of the year when we were struggling, you weren't the best captain, but you flipped a switch and you started growing as a leader, and through that our team grew closer together, and now look at that we are in the finals again, thanks to you. Another aspect of your leadership that was growing through out the year was your selflessness, willing to take a step back in scoring to fit in the system, be a playmaker for the rest of the team and overall you just made the varsity experience for the rest of us better. It's gonna be hard for us to fill the gap you leave behind when you leave for college, but I hope you know that we will miss you, as a captain, as a player, as a teammate and as a friend. Thanks again and god bless miggy.

O Captain! My Captain! Where do I even begin?? From the day I laid my eyes on you I knew you were bound for something special. Something about that mysterious aura and monkey-like look on your face told me that you, yes YOU, were the ONE. Jokes aside thank you for all the past years Miguel. You were always a great friend and (not so) great role model that I could look up to when I needed help with anything. I know that we've had differences in the past (not really), but I'm happy that your last impression on me as you leave Everest is that of a person that has the ability and capacity to lead a team, and not just someone who gets angry. It's been fun getting to see you develop into your role as team captain of both our basketball team and as a leader of the school. Your presence has always been one of uplifting joy and laughter and it is really something that we will miss in the team. Dear Vasco, my beloved, even though you don't go to practice or games anymore I still love you. It's been an amazing year with you in the three sports we're part of. Even though it hasn't always been winning this year in issa vball and issa bball like we wanted, Im still happy of the things we accomplished playing our key roles in those three years. You may know him as just Miguel but I knew him as San Miguel or the supreme leader. At first, I didn't like you as people told me stories of what you had done or what you had done to them. Eventually, I stopped seeing you for who you were and who you are now. But the main reason I didn't like you was because you told me to "watch the games instead" when I told you I was joining the team while he was laughing. That same night I cried myself to sleep thinking if I should still join. The next day I still joined the practice and I saw that you weren't happy I was there. I didn't care because I was like fuck this nigga. As I joined more and more practices you started to be nicer to me and I saw that you weren't what other people said you were and we eventually made a brotherly bond. I grew up in a house with three sisters and I was the only boy. So to me, you were an older brother figure someone I could look up to. I know things aren't always easy for you but you always have the strength to fight which inspires me to always fight in life and on the court. I'm sorry for all the fuck ups in practice I promise you ill try to be a better player. I'm really gonna miss you man I hope you continue to be the great person we all know you can and will be. To the seniors, thank you so much for all the fun we, as a team, shared together. The time spent together was more than I could've ever asked for. I have shared a lot of good memories with the both of you, whether it be at the same time or just with one of you. The enduring of pain of running or planking, was probably the best bonding we had as a team with the both of you and we thank you for experiencing that with us, even though it was bullshit doing, you still showed us that we as a team could do it together no matter the challenge.

To Vasco, I know we haven't been super close, but I think we got closer the past two years, whether it be through basketball or golf. Just know that, you may be better than me at golf, but I'll always have a faster club speed than you. HAHAHHA. Anyway, the little moments that we spent together this year has been a lot of fun. From riding in the car to the golf course to eating in chukker using Raffi's polo card, I'll never forget those moments. I'll beat you in golf when you get back from college, but until then you're still my lodi. Thanks Vasco, good luck in college!

Hopefully when you see this we were able to let you graduate with a W, but I also hope we were able to let you graduate completing your goal as our team captain and as a basketball player. At first I was questionable about how you lead us as a team but I realized all you wanted was to win get revenge for last year and show that your team is better. It was always great seeing your passion in the games and during practice it helped everyone push themselves harder to develop and keep up with you and your play style. I could say the from a personal standpoint it's always great to have someone on the team that leads everyone to greatness and shows how to do that properly. shit... I can't believe you guys are graduating, especially since I fucking knew you since LS to HS. THATS CRAZYY. I didn't get close to you guys until recently however, I absolutely love you guys. Miguel and Vasco, I look up to the both of you. I dont know why, but when I see you guys im like, shit i wanna be like them.

To Miguel, thanks for all the guidance you've given me. Im sad that I wasnt able to play with you in basketball, but simply training was already fun. At first I was lowkey scared of you, like you just seemed intimidating to me, but then I got to know you and you gave me like really good advice. I swear, to you it might've been some stupid ass shit, but the things you taught me lowkey helped me make decisions and choices especially with people.

To Vasco, im so happy that I was able to play volleyball with you. One of the nicest people ive ever met. I dont know if my memory is wrong, but I swear its you who always played futsal. I always loved watching you play, it was so entertaining. I was hella sad when you stopped going to training, but at the same time it was reasonable after all you have so much things to do.

We are finally playing together instead of for ourselves, and it started with you. The first time I noticed it was when you passed up an open shot to Jej, Jej of all people. That's why we are playing as a team. Everyone emulates you because you're the captain, when you share the ball everyone shares the ball, when you run the play everyone runs the play.
