In this book, Lou faces challenges within her friendships, home life, and relationship. In the end, her conflicts are boiled down to the simple fact that she's a growing adolescent girl, and the emotions that she's experiencing are bound to happen. Personally, I believe this book is out of age range for children as young as 5-8.
