He opened his Fur ship in 1786 then invested into New York real estate. He did this by buying as many acres as he could in Manhattan.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Andrew Carnegie (1835-1919) born in Dunfermilne, Scotland, United Kingdom. He made his makings in Steel and it made it one of the wealthiest in the 19th century. While working on railroads Carnegie started making investments and that was an intricate role in his makings especially in investing in Oil. He also did Army contracts during the Civil War. He had a collaboration with Jay Gould and it involved the Erie Railroad. Henry Flagler was born in New York City, the city of business and industry. He was worth 60 million from Monopoly. Whatever company that was in competition he bought the company off. Bethlehem steel was the largest independent steel producer in the world and played a big role in WWI munitions. He died approximately worth 6.2 billion dollars.
