Maybe he might have lived rich when he was born in other time period. Poe's life was really miserable. However, he worked hard writing poems such as Raven, Annabel Lee, and etc. His surrounding situations such as economic crisis or the death of his wife helped Poe to write emotionally and passionately. Because of his work, he is now considered as the pioneer of romantism in US.
