I learned that government officials all follow the will of Kim Jong Um. All North Korean children learn to follow the Marshal and basically worship him. They make it seem like someone they believe in other than someone they follow. All news and entertainment from other countries is banned from North Korea. The government has taken away the entertainment! Some people do smuggle tv shows from China and South Korea but are punished if caught. If they are accused of a crime, they will go with a trial or rarely with a trial.

I found out that all government officials follow the same leader Kim Jong Un, and if anyone tries to speak up about who they want to follow they will be sent to a hard labor camp without a fair trial or no trial at all. Also, very few people there have access to internet. For some people there is no chance to learn or have a better education because they do not have internet access

I found out that an assembly meets one or two weeks out of the year. They also don't get TV. If they don't listen they get their head off. Their founder has a grandson that controlls North Korea

I learned that the government is very unfair to the people of North Korea. If they disagree with their so called "Leader", they will be sent to jail without a trial ( or with a trial ) or be executed! They are often sent to labor camps for speaking out, and the people in schools must bow don to a statue of their "Great Leader". I think that kids in schools should have the freedom to do what they want, and the smaller kids to be able to play outside more often and have chances to be free. The leader should be helping their people in the community, not put pressure on them and force them to bow down to a statue of their leader. It's not fair!

The Government made a lot of choices for the county. Like how many people would go on the internet.They made choices for the country that I think is not fair. They don't know about Facebook because the Government did not allow them to do Facebook.

I learned that the government is very unfair to the people of north korea. Also only a few of them can use the internet and they can only go on websites that the government approved. they have free scholarships to college, and have free uniforms. No one knows about Facebook. Orphans also have to practice music for an hour to get it correct. in colorado lots o people can go on the internet. Lots of us know about Facebook. A bad thing about colorado is that our scholarships are not free. I think that it is not fair that if they try to speak their mind that they are punished. North Koreans are different from us in many ways, in ways that are unfair.

The difference between Colorado's government and North Korea's government is that our government let's us pay and we get to choose if we want to go to school or not. North Korea's government won't let them have birthday parties and they won't give them any choices. The let you go to college for free. Only a few kids get to use internet. They get free uniforms but no free time.
