Dear Me,

The first PLC session just ended. It felt very enlightening and communal. The room was filled with an inspiring group of professionals who were very eager to share their expertise and learn from others. We started by getting to know each other a bit, then we set our expectations and tasks for our upcoming session. One thing that made me proud was witnessing everyone's level of commitment and disposition to collaborate. I can't wait to continue to learn from our next sessions!

Dear Future Me,

The first PLC session was a huge success! I'm very glad I included a Google Slide for this first session! Not only did it keep me organized, but it also helped support my my PLC description of using High Leverage Practices to support learning. The participants were engaged and eager to kick off a academic year of collaboration and growth. I look forward to our next meeting were we can take a little more time to get to know one another and really establish our norms for the year!

Dear Me :),

The first PLC just ended. At the beginning I was feeling a little nervous, but once I heard everybody introducing themselves, sharing their experiences and goals for the PLC, I was absolutely amazed about how much we are all going to learn from this experience. I saw there were a lot of participants who have the same interests and views. There was a positive energy and I felt honored to facilitate and support other educators like me. I am looking forward to facilitate this PLC.

Timah,

The first PLC session has ended . It felt overwhelming and exhilarating all at the same time. The room was filled with educators excited about what they do to assist in the success of ML students and eager to learn from their colleagues. We started with introductions and what we all were expecting to gain. One thing I was most proud of, other than getting through it, was watching the collaboration and drive to learn from each other. I can't wait for the next session when we get into the work of things!
