I had been playing volleyball for 7 years back then and I was the hitter of the team. We won all the matches that year till the final match. We had prepared to the final match for a month. And that day came. I hadn’t been excited that much ever. While we were warming up, the opponent team’s hitter hit the ball and the ball came to our setter’s hand. Her finger was broken. I got panicked and nervous at the same time. We started the match without our setter. There were no substitute setter in the team, either. I did my best in the match and to retrieve the ball, I fell down. My hand was broken, too. That was tragic because the setter and I were significant for the team. We lost the match and also I said goodbye to the volleyball because of my injury. I will never forget that day because volleyball was a passion for me. I hope one day, I could play volleyball again.
