should wolves in yellow stone be protected

wolves in Yellowstone should be protected because people/tourists in yellow stone would like to see them and people keep hunting them they could go extinct. yes, wolves cause problems with livestock but the wolves should only be protected in yellow stone and just in Yellowstone. outside of yellow stone hunters and farmers should still be able to kill them cause they can cause a problem to farmers and livestock. Yellow stone said that it is just a way of life and indeed it is wolves in yellow stone should be protected for the tourists cause people come to yellow stone to see the wolves and animals.

Journal Entry 2: Discuss carrying capacity, prey/predator population, and competition affects an ecosystem. Use data and scenarios from Bear Necessities and Coral Reef Virtual to Lab to explain how organisms affect each other

I feel like all the animals in yellow stone and in the world are there to keep the population in balance because with a shortage of grass animals would die with no predators the prey would skyrocket and eat all the food to fast and they would all die but lets say an invasive species comes in it will destroy the ecosystem and mess things up. Some other things/problems that could mess up the ecosystem could be hunting some people could over hunt something/ animal that could have a very big impact on the ecosystem. In the wolf video, wolves were in yellow stone and they were protected and it sowed wolves killing lone coyote and wolf to survive and keep their food. When there is to many predators in an ecosystem they will kill all the prey but with an underpopulation of predators prey will eat all the food and then die off and all the predators will die they all rely on each other in yellow stone to survive and when they travel out they are at the risk of death but in yellow stone they also are so they just have to rely on the others to keep the ecosystem working. Without a predator or pray or any of those, the ecosystem would not work. In the gizmo when we introduced the lionfish to the environment the population would grow and the eat all the alge and has a big effect on everything because it has no predators. When an invasive species came in the population the population changed very fast because the lionfish ate all the food and all the fish died off slowly and after a while all that was left was the plants and alge

Journal Entry 3 (Learning Target 3): Throughout the past 40 years, populations of Elk, Moose, Wolves, and Willows have changed in the Yellowstone area. In a journal entry, use data from the presentations, articles, and graphs to support the statement above.

In the presentation when the wolves had left yellow stone all the elk and moose were eating the willow trees grass there for the Beavers could not survive because their main source of food is the willow tree. When the wolves returned they scared all the elk and moose because of this the bever was able to repopulate. Because of the animals eating the grass, it was dry forest fires happened frequently and most of the moose population declined because of this and very cold winters. They also died due to ticks when the wolves came back to yellow stone they balanced the population which is good for all the animals in yellow stone.

What is your opinion of the balance of nature hypothesis? Would the deer be better off, worse off, or about the same without the wolves. Defend your position.

If we were to take the wolves out of yellow stone the deer would be better off because they would have a lot better chance of surviving but the wolves are there to help balance the ecosystem they are a very important part to the ecosystem in yellow stone because they keep the deer population in balance and without them the deer could overpopulate and the would eat all their food and die. If we were o take the wolves out of yellow stone it would make a big impact on the environment. In the video about how the wolves changed the rivers, it said when the wolves came back all the animals reappeared and started to repopulate the wolves need to stay in yellow stone for as long as posable and the ecosystem in yellow stone will continue to stay alive and maintain healthily.
